Our Founder
Ian Rigby established ID Advisory in 2020, shaping it into a trusted leader in project controls, contract management, and advisory services for the Natural Resources and Infrastructure sectors.
With over 30 years of experience, Ian is a recognised expert in project controls, contract administration, and cost management. He brings hands-on expertise in delivering mega projects and programs across the UK and Australia, specialising in scope, time, cost, risk, and change management. Ian has deep knowledge of implementing and operating advanced project control systems, including Prism G2, to ensure seamless project execution.
A Subject Matter Expert in estimating, Ian applies methodologies aligned with AACE standards, from parametric models for early-stage estimates (Class 4/5) to first-principles approaches for highly detailed estimates (Class 1/2).
His expertise extends to training and managing estimating teams of up to 100 professionals, developing libraries, and applying practical construction methodologies to optimise costs and manage risk effectively.
Ian’s commercial and contract expertise, combined with his practical understanding of resource productivity and construction methodologies, ensures innovative, cost-effective, and well-managed outcomes for complex programs and projects.
